One of the things I've learned as a photographer: almost everyone worries about how they look.
Before I even pick up the camera, people often point out the things they don't like about themselves. But when I look at the photos later, those things are never what stands out. What I remember is your smile. The laugh that caught you off guard. The way you look at the people you love. Those are the things that make you, you.
We're often our own harshest critics —
noticing details nobody else does.
